Rufty-Peedin recently completed construction on a uniquely ornate building in Cary on behalf of the Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to construct this important structure, a Hindu temple built to serve the entire community through cross-cultural activities, festival celebrations and religious ceremonies.
The Sri Hanuman Temple, completed in 2016, is designed to honor the Hindu god Hanuman. No entry is allowed other than by a priest after construction was completed and the temple was blessed.
The impact this building has for our community brings worshippers from far and wide to share the Hindu religion, adding to the prominence of the main temple. Its ornate exterior shares the beauty of the Indian culture, promoting the benefits of yoga, meditation, music, art and dance.
Artisans from India visited Cary to apply for the opportunity to sculpt this beautiful, ornate structure. The Sri Hanuman Temple is located at 121 Palaji Place, in Cary.
