Rufty-Peedin’s Steven Peedin named to Alliance Medical Ministry Board

RALEIGH – Alliance Medical Ministry recently announced that Steven Peedin, president of Rufty-Peedin Design Builders has been named to its board of directors. Peedin has been a longtime expert resource and advocate for the organization. In 2008, he coordinated the renovation of its 18,000 square foot location, transforming what was previously a church into the current comprehensive medical facility that features acute care, pharmacy, pastoral care and community garden.

Alliance Medical Ministry is a faith-led nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve working uninsured adults of Wake County in need of affordable health care. Alliance opened in January 2003 and has grown to provide comprehensive, on-site services that include chronic and acute medical care, health education, laboratory testing, on-site pharmacy and referrals for specialty care. All services are completely bilingual. Alliance averages more than 1,100 patient visits per month with patient volume up 22% over the prior year. Alliance Medical Ministry welcomes visitors and patients to the clinic at 101 Donald Ross Drive in Raleigh.
