If you’re looking for natural stone materials there’s no better place in North Carolina than ROCKin’teriors. Owner Laura Grandlienard and her team help solve all kinds of hard-surface challenges. And they do it with a keen eye on creativity, sustainability and what we think is the friendliest attitude around.
“ROCKin’teriors’ new building is a showplace for their creativity, the storage of more than 90 types of stone, and their eco-friendly fabrication shop,” said Steven Peedin. “All this adds up to the region’s top destination for natural stone materials for both commercial and residential customers.”
Grandlienard has a longstanding relationship with our own Jon Rufty, having provided natural stone fabrication and installation on many Rufty Homes residential projects.
In this case, Grandlienard enjoys the royal treatment in her new commercial home.
The ROCKin’teriors building is situated to take advantage of the many natural features of its lot. Not surprisingly, it looks and feels like it exists in harmony with its natural surroundings. That’s thanks to Maurer Architecture, which worked in cooperation with Rufty-Peedin on this design-build project.
“I felt very humbled to have Steven and Jon build our building. They’re on an elite level as contractors, so I had tremendous trust in working with them every step of the way,” said Grandlienard. “This collaboration has resulted in the type of fine craftsmanship that will ‘wow’ visitors to our new building.”
Grandlienard’s personal service brings unique value to builders, architects and residential customers, so it’s a natural partnership said Peedin,
“It’s not just the stone selections, or the fact that her shop does in-house fabrication. It’s her passion for helping customers select just the right natural stone,” he said.
Stop by ROCKin’teriors and see for yourself, located in Raleigh on Hampton Woods Lane and Chapel Hill Road, exit 290 off I-40. Laura’s team specializes in high-touch personal service in the design, fabrication and installation of unique, hard-to-find natural stones used for residential and commercial building. Laura herself even visits many of the 400 quarries and mines around the world from which their stone is extracted.
She’s passionate about running an eco-friendly business committed to water reclamation and using non-toxic chemicals in the fabrication process.
They’re also members of the Marble Institute of America and a certified fabricator of natural stone and CaesarStone® as well as the leading IceStone® fabricator in the Southeast.
